as with everything else i reserve darker colors for colder temps and bust out the neons, corals come spring/summer. pink is my go-to nail color but I'm on the lookout for a fun baby blue to add to my polish collection to wear with silver accessories. gold rings spice up the colors even more and i love the metallic toes. something so beachy about them when paired with sandals!

I'm behind in announcing that orchid was the Pantone color of the year for 2014. Ahem, excuse me I mean *radiant* orchid. I decided to get in on the radiance with my nail color. It's perfect and fun for spring even if the weather doesn't match yet. 

 This is maybelline lusty lilac. I love the shade but the nail polish itself was not fun to apply. Let's just say it doesn't coat well. Note it's a bit deeper in person.
