blue will do.

Friday, May 9, 2014

bright but reminds me of gloomy weather (ahem today) all at the same time. in sweater form blue is ready for rain, in earring form it's ready for a night by the ocean, dancing to salsa music, in chambray it's ready for work-behind a computer or on a farm. oh, versatile blue. we love you.

black jeans

Friday, April 18, 2014

lately the only pair of jeans that fit my baby growing belly are a pair of black jeans I got at h&m last winter. I know many won't agree but in my opinion they are hard to style. maybe I'm just not used to wearing them but to me they can come off as cheap? so to fix that, my solution is to pair them with quality fabrics like cashmere and thick knits. sorry about all the sweaters but it snowed here yesterday so no, these are not about to be put away in my state.

to cross them over to spring throw on a light trench instead of coat and strappy heels instead of boots. you go ahead though, I'll be over here drinking hot chocolate.

dream travel

dream travel by glitterandtea featuring j crew jewelry

this is a perfect (and dream) travel outfit. a lightweight sweater that's not frumpy (jcrew), loose comfy jeans (paige denim) a cashmere scarf because planes in my opinion are always chilly and perforated flats that are easy to slep on and off at security.

now that purse. that is my real dream. I feel like I could wear it the rest of my life and I would probably have to given the price tag but wow perfect.

maybe I was a ballerina in a former life but I love neutrals, blushes, and baby pink. that;s probably half my closet. the other half is black sweaters ha!

thick and chunky

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

a thick white sweater is perfect to take your summer skinny jeans (mint, polka dot, etc) into fall. accesorize with a metal or brown leather watch & a scarf and you're good to go. the possibilites are really endless.
